Very quiet and enjoyable Place to take a Rest or looks for the nature. Personal is nice and helpfully.

The way to arrive is very small and in the night not easy to found

Clean spacious room, lovely location, polite friendly staff, excellent gym facilities with free weights, cables, resistance machines and a variety of cardio machines.

Reason why I've knocked off a few stars was that the breakfast was mediocre - alot of staff but food so/so

Breakfast was better on first morning as more guests in hotel and therefore a better range of choice. Needed a car to get around as hotel wasn’t within walking distance of the town.

The hotel met our needs so we were happy with the whole experience.

Loved the staff. The breakfast was an extra charge which was surprising considering the rate charged for the room.

The hotel premises are really good and the rooms are comfortable. There are two rooms with private hot tubs which appears to be not very common in Ireland( They say that they allocate those rooms only to couples and for minimum three days). About the staff, I was super impressed about the front office lady who checked us in, but have a mixed feed back about the one who checked us out. The bar staff (especially an younger boy of whom I forgot the name), was truly awesome! We couldn't make it to the recreation center due to lack of time but it looks like there is no direct passage through the hotel building. My friend who stayed there told me that his kids really enjoyed the pool.

The restaurant primarily... Cold, dull approach by the staff there. No smiles, no welcome greetings and almost nil interaction. Have to say that there is room for improvement to match up with the general outlook of the hotel. The restaurant also doesn't look like the one that matches with the price tag. The bar atmosphere is also not so classy to the levels of what they project to be. They don't even have a cocktail menu!!

Staff were so friendly, room was lovely even had a balcony..got complimentary tea and coffee and delicious cake on arrival.. pool etc first class. Breakfast delicious.

I am a vegetarian and on the second night we decided to try out the bar food..alas, I was not impressed either in the presentation or the quality of the dish I was served..my partner enjoyed his meal tho..was very disappointed ..

Very comfy bed and very spacious room. Great views and surroundings. Outdoors hot tub at the leisure centre. Nice tennis court.

Pictures are way better than reality. Dirt and spiders in the room and at the reception desk.. Very noticeable wear and tear in the bathroom and same at the leisure centre. Small and cold pool. Poor breakfast. Did not exactly meet the expectations considering it is a 4 star hotel.

The bed was the most comfortable bed i've ever slept in...???? the rooms were spacious. Despite the hotel being busy, the rooms were quite. Lovely setting by the river, just a small walk to town...(5mins) leisure centre is very well run and spotlessly clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were very nice and polite besides the owner who really ruined our stay for the wedding.

The owner upon our arrival accuses us of having drink in our bag and made us drop our bags as we walked in the door without even welcoming us. Later on the night I went to go access my room during the wedding and the owner refused to allow me up to my room to get my phone as he said the room ‘was only for sleeping’. I paid €190 for the room and was told I can only access the room to sleep? Absolute disgrace should be refunded money for it. The owner also stormed into our room at 10am without even knocking and told us we have to check out now even though checkout wasn’t until 12. He seen that my friend Sophia was getting dressed as he walked in and he still stood at door staring in and never left until we left the room. My friend felt very creeped out and intimidated by his presence. Absolutely disgusting no privacy at all. Also accused me of leaving drink outside my room window which I was very offended by as if he checks cameras he’ll see none of us left anything outside our window. Heard so many people complain over the owner which was very disappointing as it would’ve been a great night otherwise. WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN THANKS TO THAT OWER!! He really ruined our experience.

Blissful location by the River, with a serene view. Terrific breakfast, and lovely staff. We were offered hot drinks on our arrival which were brought to the room.

One one occasion my Mother and I took dinner at the hotel and that was very under par except for the desserts! Scrumptious puddings.

Breakfast was good, but from looking at the website pictures of breakfast, perhaps my expectations were set too high. Staff were attentive and pleasant.

Once again expectations were set high by the bedroom pictures from the hotel Website. The use of wide angle lenses by Estate Agents and Hotels contribute to this problem today. I was tempted to check the measurements of the bedroom to see was it in line with the room description of a Superior King size room. But the bathroom illustrated the point more, in that it felt tiny in comparison to the photos on the website. It just left me disappointed especially as I felt I was paying a lot of money for two nights Bed and Breakfast.

cleanliness, the bathroom still had spit marks in the sink and on bin and surrounding counter, the balcony which we paid extra for had a lot of spider webs, moss growing in the table, just little things that should be included in the cleaning and weren't , there was still dirt on bathroom floor after housekeeping had called, the staff overall seem quite young, maybe they need more experienced staff. nothing was terrible it just wasn't great to see for what we were charged.

Very poor quality breakfast, one of the most expensive hotels outside Dublin and very cheap breakfast, some of the staff were very short, very expensive for the product

The location is beautiful located at the foothills by a stunning river , the food was very fresh and staff very friendly the pool was a good size too

It felt outdated 4star a long time ago , the room was very warm with an air con unit that wasn’t producing any cold air broken air con , the pool temperature was very cold and one of the main features of the leisure Centre the outdoor hot tub wasn’t working broken a common theme , the decking on the balcony was badly in need of some work a bit of a hazard to be honest , not great value for money
